I concur to that statement- I know Lief and Kathrene personally, been in the Elite Circle for few years now- their knowledge and networking is amazing!

If you haven’t already, get yourself a subscription to _International Living_. Once you do, you’ll have access to all the years of past issues, too, and you’ll have their reviews of many countries which offer opportunities for living overseas. They hold seminars both in the US and in a few foreign countries that help you understand how to find your place and make your move. They do an annual boot camp in Las Vegas to help you get started.

For more practical information about buying and selling and living overseas, get in touch with Leif Simon and his wife, Kathleen Petticord. They went abroad about 25 years ago and have raised their children while buying and selling (and still holding) real estate in several countries from Ireland to France to Croatia to Cyprus to Columbia and especially to Panama, where they’re now developing a tract of land on the Pacific coast. See: The Simon Letter and Overseas Living.

You could gain some insight from Bill Bonner at the top of your publisher pyramid. I was first attracted to his project near the NW corner of Argentina (Cafayate?). He was still redoing the farmhouse in France. Later, he began development of the property in Nicaragua (Rancho Santana) which has grown quite nicely into resort style living on 2700 acres on the Pacific coast. And there’s his own ranch in Argentina where he grows grapes at high altitude and makes limited edition wine which is sold in the US.

Those are just a few suggestions for your consideration to help you get started investing abroad.

Regards
