Except for the high-yield dividend stocks, I really don’t see the point to having any oil stocks in my portfolio. Oil and combustibles stocks have been on the bottom of the market all year and Trump’s efforts to boost production will increase the supply and cause the price of oil and natural gas to go down, and those stocks will wallow in the shallow end of the stock market. Better to put your dollars somewhere else. That’s just my opinion.
